Jan's quilts......................

Jan has made her very first two quilts using panels and getting creative with some coordinating fabrics, I think she did a fabulous job.

Measuring 65" x 67" 'Featherme' E2E pattern using Superiors Fantastico 'Silverado' thread over polyester batting. Jan is hoping this will be a nice feature draped over the back of her sofa.

Jan asked for the 'Full Quiltmekiwi Binding Service'. The Featherme quilting pattern is a popular choice, it's soft and flowing making it perfect for the feminine quilts and where you still want a softer open look.
The second quilt Jan created is in lovely peachy tones.........................................

Measuring 64" x 62" 'Roses' E2E quilting pattern Madeira Thread over polyester batting. Again with the full binding service.

It's always exciting to see someone take up patchwork as a new hobby, it's a fabulous creative outlet, although it quickly becomes addictive...................

So often it is the kinda hobby that only other like minded creative types understand!

Naturally in the beginning when ideas are pulsing through your veins the odd thing goes by the way side.........................

You find yourself looking for every opportunity to make someone - anyone a quilt!!! Because lets face it when you have covered every bed, every wall, sofa and table top.........you just have to right?
